… as our friend and partner, Lynn Woodward, will be retiring.
Joining Simpkins Edwards in 1997, Lynn become the firm’s first female partner. Lynn has been assisting clients with her expertise, particularly in agricultural matters over the last 25 years.
Lynn was Staff Partner for an amazing 22 years, as well as Senior Partner between 2012 and 2019. In this time Lynn has interviewed, recruited and mentored countless employees and is immensely proud of the careers she has supported – and quite rightly so.
We are all enormously proud of our reputation as a caring, supportive employer, which has been recognised recently by being awarded Medium-Sized Employer of the Year for two years running by Exeter College. Lynn has been instrumental in building that reputation.
On a personal note, Lynn and I share a passion for agriculture and it has been a pleasure to work alongside her, comparing notes, attending agricultural shows and bouncing ideas off each other.
On behalf of everyone at Simpkins Edwards, I would like to thank Lynn for her energy, enthusiasm, and leadership. We are sad to say goodbye but feel fortunate to have worked with Lynn and grateful for the culture she has helped to build.
