The end of 2018 saw Dr. Mahmoud Aziz, an award-winning aesthetics specialist, take the bold decision to set up ‘Azthetics’ a private aesthetics clinic in Weston-Super-Mare.

Mahmoud quickly built up a loyal following and ran the clinic alongside his orthopaedic surgery rotations at the University Hospital Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. His hard work and long hours paid off and he soon had over 1,500 clients on the books. He then focused his efforts on identifying an opportunity to grow his business and opened a second clinic in Clifton, Bristol.

Mahmoud turned to his good friend Dr. Tom MacDonagh and together they invested half a million pounds into the new clinic (including new equipment, rebranding the premises and all the necessary marketing needed to launch). They managed to launch and started trading on the 1st of March 2020 but just 23 days later the coronavirus lockdown forced them to close.

Thanks in part to Simpkins and Edwards and their healthcare accounting specialists, Mahmoud, Tom and their team have made it through all the lockdown restrictions and are ready to reopen in April 2021.
